the capone.org project

the capone.org project says do something by doing almost nothing.

if you have unused or outdated web space & pages, update it and help others for free. just visit the web sites of non-profits you think help others. they should have a "how can I help" page with banners or buttons you can use. or, simply post their name and web site.

don't worry about making it fancy...don't even worry about how it looks at all. this page, as plain & simple as it is — and the fact you're reading it — is proof it doesn't need to be much...it just needs to be there.

doing something is always more than nothing.

American Red Cross

Red Cross volunteers and staff work to deliver vital services – from providing relief and support to those in crisis, to helping you be prepared to respond in emergencies.

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children

Help prevent child abduction and sexual exploitation; help find missing children; and assist victims of child abduction and sexual exploitation, their families, and the professionals who serve them.

The American Cancer Society

At the American Cancer Society, we're on a mission to free the world from cancer. Until we do, we'll be funding and conducting research, sharing expert information, supporting patients, and spreading the word about prevention. All so you can live longer — and better.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW)

The VFW offers a wide range of assistance programs aimed at helping veterans of every generation. Whether that means providing free, professional help filing or appealing a VA claim, offering scholarships for post-secondary education or providing emergency financial relief when times get tough, the VFW is there for America's veterans.
